Extracurricular activities
Creating connections between family, school and extracurricular life
We believe that strong connections between classroom learning, optional activities, and family life create a rewarding and fulfilling experience for every child. At Les Petits Gaulois, our Extra-Curricular Activities (AES) extend learning beyond the classroom, by carefully harmonizing with meals, naps and transition periods.
Our teachers and educators work closely together to ensure a harmonious and stimulating environment, promoting continuity, well-being, and discovery throughout the day.

Our AES (Extra-Curricular Activities)

Chinese
Introducing children to Mandarin at an early age promotes good brain development. Children who grow up learning multiple languages, including Mandarin, often develop better problem-solving skills, better memory, and greater flexibility to move from task to task. It's not just about learning a language; it's about building cognitive foundations for life.
Several levels are available: beginner, intermediate and advanced. The courses are taught by a native teacher

Classical dance
Our classical dance classes are taught by a French state-certified teacher with more than 20 years of experience. Her teaching career extends from Monaco to Singapore, where she has worked with students of all ages and levels. Now based in Singapore, she runs her own studio and brings exceptional expertise, grace and dedication to each of her courses.

Taekwondo
Taekwondo focuses on physical development and the spirit of the martial arts. Through training, students improve their physical condition, motor skills, and coordination. Our coach ensures that each student adheres to the core values of martial arts, including self-control, respect for others, focus, and good manners.

Theater
Welcome to the world of the performing arts. Through engaging activities, your child will develop valuable skills such as role-playing, mime, musical rhythm and movement, speaking, storytelling, and storytelling. The program also offers a gentle introduction to poetry and drama, thus promoting self-confidence, creativity, and personal expression.

Plastic arts
Our visual arts sessions focus on exploring colors — warm, cold, primary, and secondary — as well as shapes. Children work with a variety of materials to create three-dimensional models and works on canvas.

Rugby
Rugby is often described as the school of life. In reality, it reflects the values we want to see in society: altruism, courage, solidarity, tolerance, and respect. It is also a great sport to be introduced to children from the age of 3, helping them develop self-confidence, team spirit and resilience from an early age.
