French-English bilingual kindergarten

Our vision is to cultivate a caring environment where each child's natural curiosity is aroused, their confidence strengthened, and their creativity encouraged.

Our philosophy

At the heart of our pedagogy, there is the child — a person in their own right, curious, confident, unique. At Les Petits Gaulois, children are fully involved in their discovery. They take ownership of what they learn, ask questions, test, explore, reflect.

Each step, each success or difficulty helps them to grow, to gain confidence, to express themselves and to dare — in this way, they thrive, step by step.

Get to know us

Les Petits Gaulois is a French-English bilingual preschool founded in 2014 by Laura Messier, a passionate educator whose vision is fun and stimulating learning experiences. We provide a caring environment where children's curiosity is aroused, their self-confidence is nurtured and their creativity encouraged.

Our experienced team works hand in hand to provide a consistent learning experience, using a variety of learning materials. We welcome children from 18 months to 6 years old (from crèche to Grande Section), in small classes of up to 14 students. The courses are taught by native French and English speaking teachers, using a thematic approach that brings concepts to life through music, dance, science, art, etc.

Our programs

At Les Petits Gaulois, we offer a unique, personalized, progressive and comprehensive program, which combines the curriculum of the French Ministry of National Education with the guidelines of the Singaporean Agency for Early Childhood Development (ECDA). This allows children to integrate smoothly into international, French, or local primary schools.

Our teachers, French and English speaking, work in partnership to ensure the continuity of the program. This bilingual approach guarantees a total immersion of children in both languages, supervised by qualified and experienced educators. We also offer optional Mandarin courses (2.5 hours per week) at beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels, allowing children to explore a third language at their own pace.

Our school

At Les Petits Gaulois, our environment is carefully designed to arouse curiosity, movement and joy. Children enjoy large outdoor spaces equipped with play equipment adapted to their age, a small climbing wall and even a dedicated vegetable garden where they can explore nature in a concrete way. Our outdoor classroom encourages learning beyond the walls, bringing lessons to life in the great outdoors and in the sun.

Inside, our warm and welcoming classrooms are combined with open spaces that provide children with the space they need to learn, play, and connect. Whether inside or outside, each space at Les Petits Gaulois promotes active exploration and rewarding learning in a safe and stimulating environment.

Vacation camps

In July and August, our team of teachers and educators is offering a series of exciting French-English bilingual summer camps. A new theme is introduced every week, stimulating curiosity and creativity through a wide range of activities. Visual arts, multi-sports, water games, treasure hunts on the beach, treasure hunts on the beach, sandcastle competitions, cooking, theater, yoga, zumba and science experiments: there is something for everyone!
