About us
Les Petits Gaulois is a bilingual French-English preschool established in 2014 by Laura Messier, a passionate educator with a vision for joyful, stimulating learning experiences. We provide a nurturing environment where children’s curiosity is sparked, confidence nurtured, and creativity encouraged.
Our experienced team works together to offer a cohesive learning experience, using a variety of teaching materials and mediums. We welcome children aged 18 months to 6 years (Playgroup, Nursery
to Grande Section/K2), with small class sizes of up to 14. Lessons are led by native French and English-speaking teachers, using a thematic approach that brings concepts to life through music, dance, science, art, and more.
Our programmes
At Les Petits Gaulois, we offer a uniquely tailored, progressive, and well-rounded curriculum that blends the French Ministry of Education programme with the guidelines set out by Singapore’s Early Childhood Development Agency (ECDA). This helps prepare children to transition smoothly into international, French, or local primary schools.
Our native French and English teachers work in partnership, co-delivering the programme seamlessly. This dual-language approach ensures children are immersed fully in both languages, supported by qualified, experienced educators. We also offer optional Mandarin classes (2.5 hours per week) at Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced levels, allowing children to explore a third language at their own pace.
At Les Petits Gaulois, our environment is thoughtfully designed to inspire curiosity, movement, and joy. Children enjoy large outdoor spaces filled with age-appropriate playground equipment, a small climbing wall, and even a dedicated vegetable garden where they can explore nature hands-on.
Our outdoor classroom encourages learning beyond four walls, bringing lessons to life in fresh air and sunlight.
Inside, our warm and welcoming classrooms are paired with open spaces that give children room to learn, play, and connect. Whether indoors or out, every corner of Les Petits Gaulois supports active exploration and meaningful learning in a safe, nurturing setting.

Holiday camps
July and August, our team of teachers and educators run a series of exciting bilingual French-English summer camps. Each week features a new theme, sparking curiosity and creativity through a wide range of engaging activities. From visual arts, multisports, and water games to beach treasure hunts, sandcastle competitions, cooking, theatre, yoga, Zumba, and hands-on science experiments - there’s something for every child to enjoy!
